We know just how many parents have told us their concerns about their childs health, how they spend their time and who they are spending it with. We understand how worrying this can be.
If you would like to have your children do more physical activity, spend less time in front of the TV, this is the chance you have been waiting for.
Physical exercise that they will love doing, it will make them feel great, and they will get to meet and spend time with positive role models that help them grow.
Our Classes
Mixed Martial Arts Fitness Conditioning
Punch, Kick, Block, Take Down your way to being fitter, stronger, looking in shape and feeling great.

This session is run by Sensei Dave Owen, a multiple time Karate World Champion, Qualified Boxing Coach and Trainer to the Marines of his very own “Close Quarter Battle” techniques. Sensei for over 30 year, Dave has a nationwide reputation for his life long commitment to martial arts and there principles and application. Dave has run adult and junior martial arts classes for decades, has a wealth of knowledge and experience, and continues to produce world class students and balanced, positive and hard working people from his groups.
MMA Fitness Conditioning sessions are a blend of all the disciplines, from grappling, close quarter combat, karate, kick boxing, boxing and many of the techniques Dave has worked with through his illustrious career. This classes will make you faster, stronger, more flexible and more durable, plus help build self-confidence and discipline.
We would also make it clear, this is a limited contact training session. Our outcome is to teach self defence and to stay away from violence at all costs, and to use these drills and techniques to develop fitness. We view all our martial arts groups in the same way, “with great power comes great responsibility” and that part of producing a martial artist is about the respect and control they learn within that craft. Students are expected to carry this discipline into the community, and if they are unable to do so, will be omitted from this program.
Juniors who want to progress from this session to more directed boxing and martial arts program may join Daves other evening groups. Dave currently has around 100 junior students working through their karate grades and competing in national and international events.
Street Dance with Laura Toms
Step Up to the Streets come to Torquay, come and get a J Lo body, rock your body tight!!!

This fitness class is based around learning dance and gymnastic moves and the choreography it. LArua is a fully qualified instructor in many group classes, like Pump, Combat, Aerobics, Dance, all sorts, and blends all of those qualities into this great fun group. For females who want to lose weight and get a flatter stomach, Laura and her workouts are a great starting point.
Strength and Conditioning with Tom Clarke, Sam Essam and Glen Bevan
Be stronger than the rest, run faster, jump higher, recover better, feel great and look awesome.

These sessions will work on making you stronger, faster, and fitter. Classes will involve all sorts of exercises, from flipping tyres, to baseball bats into bags, to throwing medicine balls, all sorts. Everyone can come and get stronger, fitter, leaner, more muscles, better shape, at these all round great workouts.
All the exercise classes are developed with safety in mind, and loading is prescribed as recommended in the LTAD (Long Term Athletic Development Plan) as set out by Sport England.
Dietary advice based on sound proven medical research will be provided to the groups at every session, along with training in basic first aid and health and safety issues.

All classes start at 4pm .
Please ensure you are on time, we would like all students into the session 5 minutes before it starts to help with the set up of any equipment. Sessions will be finished by 4.50pm and students will then help to put equipment away.

You can get classes for as little as £1 a night!!!

3 Month Pass – £50
If your child is currently registered for Free School Meals then they can attend these classes for FREE, under the MY TIME program. For more information visit the Torbay Council Website, or speak to your childs teacher at school.

All students must have their health and medical screening completed by a parent/guardian prior to attending a class.
MY Time Funding
If you get FREE SCHOOL meals, you can come to these classes for FREE as part of the MY TIME program. Just let us know when you come to the gym and we can arrange for you to use these classes for free!!!
1-1 and Group Tuition is Available
If you want to get together with some friends and do some private training to accelerate your gains, we can arrange that for you. Or perhaps you want to bring your team mates along and get your whole team stronger and fitter so you can win more often?
